How it works

Three steps between you and a cheaper ticket.

Step 01

Tell us your trip

Origin, destination, dates and travellers — one short form, no account needed.

Step 02

We compare everything

FareKite queries airlines, online agencies and booking sites at once and shows every fare side by side, cheapest first.

Step 03

Book with the provider

Pick your fare and finish the booking on the provider's own site. FareKite never charges you a fee.

Smart ways to fly cheaper

A little flexibility goes a long way on airfare.

Be flexible on dates

Mid-week departures are routinely cheaper than Friday and Sunday flights. Shifting your trip by a day or two often saves more than any coupon.

Check nearby airports

Big metros have more than one airport — and budget carriers often fly from the smaller one. Compare both before you decide.

Ask about phone fares

Some partner agencies hold unpublished fares that never appear online. If you see a phone number next to a deal, a two-minute call can beat the web price.

Compare one-way pairs

Two one-way tickets on different airlines sometimes undercut a round trip on either. FareKite makes checking both takes seconds.

Book at the right time

For most routes the sweet spot is 3–8 weeks before departure for domestic and 2–5 months for international. Last-minute fares are rarely kind.

Mind the baggage math

A "cheap" basic fare plus paid bags can cost more than a standard fare with luggage included. Every FareKite result shows the fare's baggage note.

Frequently asked questions

Completely. FareKite is a comparison engine — we never add booking fees or markups. The price you see is the travel provider's own price, and you pay them directly when you book on their site.
Airlines distribute seats through many channels and every agency negotiates its own rates. The same seat can be published at meaningfully different prices — and some agencies hold unpublished fares that are only available through them. Comparing is the only way to see the whole picture.
On the travel provider's own website. When you press "View Deal" we hand you to that provider with your trip pre-selected; payment, ticketing and customer service all happen with them.
Prices include taxes and are refreshed live from each provider. Airfares do move quickly, so a fare can occasionally change between the search and the provider's checkout — the provider always shows the final price before you pay.
Changes, cancellations and refunds are handled by the provider you booked with, since your contract and payment are with them. Many of our partners offer 24/7 phone support for exactly this.
